Description

Piruhi is a tasty dough-based dish, like mantı (Turkish ravioli) except it is cooked with tulum cheese. It seems likely that what connects Russian pierogi to Ottoman piruhi is the multicultural structure of the Ottoman Empire. The finishing touch of piruhi includes roasted walnuts and butter.
